dreams

do dreams hold meaning?
or just feeling?
what i want so bad
in a dream to it i'm led
to curb this desire
my happiness and joy bound by reality's briars
for joy and love i wish
but these always on god's waiting list
my dreams give me hope
with this feeling i wish to elope
to the land of no worries
only with honey and sweet berries
on the plain's i'll lay
forever in this fictitious world i'll stay
but the journey there is ardourous
paved with curse
and pain
with numerous slain
it deters no one
but the meaning of a dream is always a pun
an illusion
with no conclusion
a maze with no end
forever it'll continue to extend
to the depths of the human mind it reaches
dreams just like leeches....
